Best Quick Service Disney World Restaurants

A trip to a Walt Disney World park is generally an-day excursion, usually more. While Disney dining can be an experience in itself, sometimes you may just want to grab a quick bite so that you can go right back to riding the attractions during your Walt Disney World vacation.

Quick-service Disney World restaurants are the perfect option because they offer full meals quickly. You can eat quickly and then go back to the rest of your plans for the day. They are also a more affordable option for families.

There are many quick-service Disney World restaurants located in each of the parks, resort hotels, and Disney Springs. These spots offer so many different meal options, depending on the types of food your kids and you enjoy.

Here are the best quick-service Disney World restaurants (in my opinion).

I am a former member of the Disney Parks Moms Panel and have been on some complimentary press trips at Walt Disney World, but all opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links. A purchase through one of these links may result in a commission paid to us at no additional cost to you.

Quick Service Disney World Restaurants

The quick-service restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort do not take dining reservations. These are counter-service restaurants where you place your order at the counter (or kiosk sometimes), and then a cast member will call your number and give you your order.

In some cases, you’ll be able to place a mobile order on the My Disney Experience app. That can speed up your order because you won’t have to wait in long lines to order.

Best Quick Service EPCOT Restaurants

EPCOT has some of my favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World and also has some delicious quick-service restaurants.

Sunshine Seasons: This quick-service restaurant is located in the Land pavilion in Future World. It offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and has an Asian noodle shop, grill, and sandwich area within the counter service restaurant. Veggies grown in the Land pavilion are served at Sunshine Seasons, so everything tastes fresh.

La Cantina de San Angel: My family loves Mexican food, and this quick-service restaurant by the World Showcase Lagoon is delicious. It offers large plates, so if you aren’t too hungry, you can share food. The location is beautiful, so you can relax along the lagoon.

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie: This quick-service restaurant in EPCOT offers delicious pastries and desserts. They also have some lunch and dinner options, including lobster bisque, sandwiches, and quiche.

While not specifically a quick-service restaurant, there are some great food options at the various EPCOT events held throughout the year. At the EPCOT International Food and Wine Event, the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, and the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, you’ll find kiosks serving small plates of different types of food.ly recommend having one of your meals at the festival if you are visiting during this time.

Best Quick Service Magic Kingdom Restaurant

I’ve mentioned before that the Magic Kingdom restaurants aren’t my favorite of the restaurants in the parks. They are good, I just don’t think they are as good as the restaurants in the other parks.

However, since you’ll likely be spending much of your time in the Magic Kingdom, you’ll probably be hungry. Luckily, there several quick-service Magic Kingdom restaurants that offer great, diverse options for families.

Casey’s Corner: If you are looking for an all-American lunch or dinner, Casey’s is a great option. It’s located at the end of Main Street USA and offers a variety of different hot dogs, as well as french fries and corn dog nuggets. Casey’s doesn’t have a lot of seating, and it is a fan favorite, so arrive early or later.

Columbia Harbour House: The Columbia Harbour House is one of my favorite “hidden gems” at the Walt Disney World theme parks. This quick-service Magic Kingdom restaurant is located in Liberty Square, across from the Haunted Mansion.

It offers quintessential New England meals and snacks, like lobster rolls, grilled shrimp, and New England clam chowder. There’s plenty of seating, including some upstairs, so it’s a nice choice when the park is crowded. For some reason, I think people tend to forget about this restaurant, so it never seems nearly as busy as the others at the Magic Kingdom.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn: Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn is a great Disney quick-service dining option for families. It has a large menu that is likely to satisfy most family members’ tastes. Expect to find things like burgers, nachos, salads, tacos, and rice bowls. There’s plenty of indoor seating too, making it a nice option for a busy day.

Best Quick Service Animal Kingdom Restaurant

I absolutely love the quick service options at Animal Kingdom. The food is delicious, but also a bit unique. This is the one park where I prefer the quick service restaurants to the table service restaurants.

Flame Tree BBQ: This is one of my favorite quick-service meals on Disney property. They offer BBQ entrees, including sandwiches and plates. The meals here are large, so you can split them if you aren’t too hungry. There is a lot of outdoor seating, with plenty of shade so it’s also a nice place to sit and relax.

Satu’li Canteen: This restaurant, one of the newest at Walt Disney World, is also one of the best. It’s located in Pandora and offers healthy and delicious entrees. My favorites are the cheeseburger pods and the chopped wood-grilled chicken bowl. This is another spot with fairly limited seating, so arrive early or late. It’s been very popular since it opened several years ago.

Sunset Ranch Market at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Best Quick Service Disney’s Hollywood Studios

With so many new things at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you are likely to spend a lot of time there. Luckily there are some excellent options for dining, even if you are in a hurry.

I like the Sunset Ranch Market food court area on Sunset Boulevard, as you are heading from the center of the park to the Tower of Terror. There are several food counters, with combined seating. So it’s a good option for families who all want something different.

Options there include Anaheim Produce where you’ll find healthy snacks. There’s also Catalina Eddie’s (with salads and pizza), and Fairfax Fare (with tamales, rice bowls, empanadas, and more).

Best Quick Service Disney Springs

Disney Springs is most known for the delicious table service restaurants there. However, there are some quick service options if you are looking to grab a quick bite before doing some shopping.

Blaze Pizza: This quick-service pizza chain serves delicious, custom pizzas. The line out the door moves quickly, and the pizza is made and cooked in a short amount of time. Pizzas are individual-sized, although my kids can usually share one.

Earl of Sandwich: This small chain has delicious sandwiches, as the name suggests. My favorite is the Holiday Turkey, which is a Thanksgiving dinner in a sandwich. I was so disappointed when I visited the Earl of Sandwich at Disneyland Paris and the menu was different.

The Polite Pig: This delicious BBQ restaurant in Disney Springs is very popular. The menu includes shareable plates, large plates, sandwiches, and sides.

Quick Service Dining Tips

Utilize mobile ordering wherever possible, so that you can save time in line. You can also use mobile ordering for snacks at some locations.

Arrive at popular quick-service restaurants before or after the breakfast, lunch, or dinner rush. Seating can sometimes be limited, depending on the location.

If you want to be out of the sun, find restaurants with indoor or shaded seating. However, if seating is important to you, you may want to make advanced dining reservations for one of the sit-down restaurants.

Most of the quick service Disney World restaurants are on the Disney dining plan, so you’ll be able to use the plan when eating there.

Consider sharing meals when you aren’t too hungry or want to try a few things. We’ve found that the quick service meals can be large, and often the kids aren’t too hungry since they snack so much at the parks. If you are still hungry, you can always order more food quickly.

Most of the menus for the quick service restaurants are online, so you may want to look at them at home before leaving for vacation. That way, you’ll have a list of places that you want to eat at before leaving.

At a minimum, be sure to look at the menus before getting in line so you’ll be sure that you’ll find something everyone will enjoy. You won’t want to get to the front of the line and find out that your kids aren’t happy with the options.
