Vermont

Vermont, in the Northern part of New England, is a wonderful family destination for skiing and other family-friendly outdoor activities. It's a quiet state, filled with quaint cities and towns.

If you aren't a skier, there are still some activities that you can enjoy. I'd recommend visiting in the summer when the weather is warm, but not too hot.
