The Embassy Suites Aruba is best for families who want extra space, an included breakfast buffet, and a quieter Aruba resort experience without paying luxury beachfront prices. It’s especially good for families with younger kids and anyone who would like a hotel room suite with extra space.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort is located 15 minutes from Aruba's Queen Beatrix International Airport, between Eagle Beach and Palm Beach. Once you arrive at the airport, you can easily get a cab, rental car, or shuttle and be at the resort in just a few minutes. Then you can start your vacation immediately.

Suites and Views
Once you arrive at the resort, you'll notice that due to the shape of the hotel building, almost all of the rooms have a beach/pool view. The ones that don't face the Bubali Bird Sanctuary behind the resort.
In addition, all of the rooms at the resort are suites. These are especially great for families, who can enjoy extra space. This can be a big savings for families who otherwise would consider getting two connecting hotel rooms at a different resort.
Suites include the following:
- A wet bar with a sink, microwave, coffee maker, and mini refrigerator.
- A dining room table with four chairs (perfect for dining in)
- A pullout couch that is great for kids
- A balcony with two chairs and a small table - either overlooking the pool/ocean or the bird sanctuary
- A separate bedroom
- One bathroom with a large shower
- Televisions in both the living space and the bedroom
- A large closet with drawers for storing all of your stuff

Pool at the Aruba Embassy Suites
One of the highlights of the resort is the large pool area, surrounded by shaded beach chairs and cabanas. The cabanas can be reserved in advance for an additional fee or are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the morning. There's also a kiddie pool and a large hot tub. You could easily spend a full day at the pool, and enjoy drinks and food (not included from the nearby cafe and outdoor bar).
Guests can get towels at the adjacent towel hut. It also offers folding beach chairs and beach toys that you can borrow.

Tunnel to the Beach
None of the beaches in Aruba is private, but the beach directly across from the Embassy Suites is secluded and quiet. The resort offers beach palapas and chairs to resort guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Unlike the cabanas at the pool, none of these can be reserved in advance.
The resort isn't right on the beach, so you have to walk over. The Embassy Suites Aruba features a tunnel under the street. It's a quick walk, and you won't have to worry about crossing the street.
Beach towels aren’t offered directly at the beach area, so it’s easiest to bring them from the pool towel hut.
During my visit, I found the water at the beach to be nice and calm. Because it's a bit secluded with some natural rock formations, the water is calmer.
Kids' club
I didn't have kids with me on my trip, so I wasn't able to experience the kids' club. However, it is offered at the Embassy Suites and would be a great option if you want to take advantage of it.
Parking
If you are renting a car during your Aruba vacation, the resort offers complimentary parking in its adjacent parking garage.

Free breakfast buffet
One of the biggest benefits of staying at the Embassy Suites Aruba is the complimentary breakfast buffet that is offered every day. It is a huge buffet, offering lots of options including made-to-order omelets, make-your-own waffles, fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, sausages, cereal, and more.
Evening reception
Every night, you can go to the front desk to get two coupons (per adult) for a drink at the evening reception. You can either get local beer and wine or a mixed drink (2 different options are offered per day). A few snacks are also offered during the reception. It's a great stop before whatever your dinner plans are for the night.
Once you factor in the included breakfast, suite layout, parking, and evening reception, the Embassy Suites Aruba can offer strong overall value compared to similarly sized Aruba resorts.

Other Considerations
There are some factors to consider when deciding whether the Embassy Suites Aruba is worth it. While there are lots of things that make it worthwhile, it's important to know these things:
Not all-inclusive: This resort isn't an all-inclusive, so you'll pay extra for food (other than breakfast) and drinks (other than the two you receive per night at the reception). There's only one restaurant open for lunch, and one open for dinner, so you'll want to venture out into the rest of Aruba for most of your dinners.
Not directly on the beach: The Embassy Suites Aruba is not directly on the beach, but it offers easy beach access via the tunnel. It is important to know this, though, before you book.
Families looking for a traditional all-inclusive experience with nonstop activities and multiple restaurants may prefer a larger beachfront resort.
