Unless you are a parent traveling with disposable diapers and baby food, you'll probably find that your stuff seems to multiply when it's time to come home from vacation. Dirty clothes are more challenging to pack than clean clothes, and most families bring home souvenirs from vacation.
The Foldie travel bag is a solution to this issue. It folds down to a small rectangle and can be tucked into your suitcase. Then, when you return home, you can open it to use as a convenient travel duffel.

Review of the Foldie Foldable Travel Bag
For the best selection of colors, the Foldie should be purchased directly on their website. You can also purchase on Amazon, but fewer colors are available there.
Features of the Foldie Travel Bag
The primary feature of the Foldie is its ability to fold into itself, into a thin rectangle. I first tested it on my recent trip to Aruba. During that trip, I packed it in my roller bag and used it as a personal item on my return.
The Foldie opens to 17.8" L × 10" H × 8" W, so it has plenty of space for your stuff on the return trip. It weighs about 1.4 lb, so it won't add much more weight to your suitcase.

Expansion, Compartments, and Reinforcement
Despite its lightweight design, the Foldie is still a functional, sturdy bag. It offers 8 different compartments, including a wet pocket and external water bottle pockets. The front pocket (that one that it folds into) is perfect for your travel documents.
On my Aruba trip, I found it to be useful to hold my dirty laundry. Because it's a flexible bag with a little bit of structure, it worked perfectly for this purpose. Then, I added my water bottle, passport, and boarding pass to the pockets.
The Foldie also features reinforced stitching at the bag's stress points. This helps with durability and lets you carry it without worrying about the ends fraying.
Carrying the Foldie
When you unfold the Foldie and use it as a travel bag, you'll have several ways to carry it. It has two hand straps, a crossbody strap, and a trolley sleeve that fits over the handle of your wheeled suitcase.
Serves as a Personal Item
Even when opened and filled, the Foldie can fit as a personal item under the airplane seat in front of you. Because of that, you'll be able to bring a regular rollerboard carry-on with you on the flight. Just slide the Foldie over the handle of your carry-on, and it's easy to carry.

Color Selection
I love traveling with bright luggage colors. Regardless of what color(s) your luggage is, there's probably a Foldie that matches.
When you purchase on their website, you'll find a wide variety of colors. This includes orange, bright pink, navy blue, beige, purple, teal, gray, brown, and black.
Who the Foldie Travel Bag is Good For
The Foldie is great for any traveler - especially those who fly on vacation. It makes a perfect gift for the traveler in your life, and is also a nice idea for college students. They can store it easily in their dorm room and expand it when traveling home for breaks.
