Texas

One of the biggest states in the US, Texas offers a number of large cities with plenty of family-friendly attractions. Options include Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, and Austin, as well as smaller cities like Waco, Lubbock, and Galveston.

The culture and foodie scene alone make Texas a worthwhile vacation destination. It's not as popular as some of the other tourist destinations in the US, so it's affordable and you can still get a great deal.

San Antonio is one of my personal favorites, thanks to the historical significance as well as the beautiful and unique River Walk.
