Connecticut, nestled in between New York and Massachusetts in New England, has some fun small towns and cities to visit for a family vacation or long weekend. Whether you live in the area and are traveling for a road trip, or are visiting, there are lots of options.

We love visiting Mystic Connecticut, which is located right on the waterfront. There, you'll find an aquarium, historic seaport, restaurants, and great shopping.

There's also New Haven, home of Yale. In addition to some great museums, you'll also find some of the best pizza in the United States.
