Maine is one of our favorite family travel destinations. Located in the northern part of New England, Maine offers many different cities and towns that are great for a family vacation.
Because Maine isn't too far from our home outside of Boston, we travel there frequently. There are several cities, like Portland, Maine, which are quaint and fun to visit. But there are also many gorgeous seaside towns, and fabulous ski resorts.
