One of the most unique offerings in the cruise industry is the MSC Yacht Club. A separate area on each MSC cruise ship, the Yacht Club is a premium offering available when booking your cruise stateroom. The Yacht Club, often referred to as a "ship within a ship", is an excellent option for anyone looking for a premium experience on their next MSC Cruise.
Disclosure: I've been on complimentary MSC sailings and experienced the MSC Yacht Club at no cost on the MSC Seascape. All opinions are my own. This post may contain affiliate links, and a purchase may result in a commission paid to you at no cost to me.

Guide to the MSC Yacht Club
What Exactly is the MSC Yacht Club?
When you book a cruise on any of the MSC ships, you can choose to book a Yacht Club room. It's a premium offering that provides an exclusive ship-within-a-ship experience. You'll need to use your MSC Yacht Club stateroom card to access the Yacht Club area, where you'll find a separate reception/concierge desk, restaurant, pool deck, elevator, and more.
How to Book the MSC Yacht Club
If you want to be in the MSC Yacht Club for your cruise, you need to book a specific Yacht Club stateroom. The Yacht Club is not available as an add-on; you must be in one of these designated rooms to access the amenities and privileges. You'll see it as an option when viewing the available staterooms for your sailing.

Benefits of the MSC Yacht Club
There are so many fantastic benefits of the MSC Yacht Club. It really does feel like a separate small ship experience, since you can experience things like a pool deck and restaurant with fewer crowds. Here's what to expect:
A premium stateroom in this exclusive section of the ship: Yacht Club rooms have more amenities and feel more "premium". While suites are available, not all of the staterooms are suites. You will have lots of options to choose from.
A butler: The butlers in the MSC Yacht Club serve as a premium concierge, available 24 hours a day. They can help escort you to and from shows (to an MSC Yacht Club reserved section of the theaters), book specialty dining and port excursions, bring you to and from the exit of the ship, and bring room service to your stateroom.
Top Sail Lounge: This exclusive lounge offers drinks and light food throughout the day, with fantastic views of the ocean. It's only open to Yacht Club guests.
Priority embarkation and disembarkation: You'll receive your own embarkation and disembarkation times to make the process more convenient and stress-free. Guided disembarkation is also available on port days so that you can reach your excursion or other port plans as soon as possible.
Access to the Thermal Spa: You'll receive complimentary access to the Thermal Spa, which is located in the spa in the main part of the ship. Guests who aren't staying in the Yacht Club can book the Thermal Spa separately, but it's complimentary for Yacht Club guests.
Private pool deck just for Yacht Club guests: The private pool deck offers an oasis away from the chaos of the cruise ship. Only guests staying in the Yacht Club can access this area of the ship.
A premium beverage package: You won't have to purchase this separately - it's included with your Yacht Club booking.
Ocean House Beach: If your cruise includes a stop at MSC's private island Ocean Cay, you can visit this exclusive beach just for Yacht Club guests.
Wi-Fi Package: You'll receive the "browse" internet package for two devices per person. Upgrades are available for purchase.

Rooms in the MSC Yacht Club
Rooms in the MSC Yacht Club are all located in the same area of the ship, the exclusive Yacht Club. There are many room options, depending on your budget and party size. Here are some of the room options available.
- Yacht Club interior suite
- Yacht Club deluxe suite
- Yacht Club grand suite
- Yacht Club royal suite
- Yacht Club owner's suite
Rooms in the Yacht Club are premium compared to standard staterooms, featuring luxurious accents, high-quality bath amenities, and more.

Is the MSC Yacht Club Worth It?
Value is always subjective, depending on your budget and how you plan to spend your cruise. Consider the type of experience you want to have. If you have younger kids who will want to dine in the main dining room and enjoy the standard ship amenities, it may not be worth the extra cost for the MSC Yacht Club.
However, if you think you'll enjoy the exclusive access and other amenities, the MSC Yacht Club is a great option. You'll get the benefits of a larger ship with the premium access and service of a small ship.
