What to do on Marco Island FL With Kids: Marco Island is located south of Naples and Fort Myers in southwest Florida on the Gulf of Mexico.

We flew into the Fort Myers Airport (Southwest Florida International Airport), rented a car, and drove about an hour south to Marco Island.

Water Sports: Jet Skiing, paddle boarding, and other water sports are also through various beach vendors

The Dolphin Study Eco-Tour and Cruise: A three-hour tour, guided by a naturalist, where you can learn about dolphins

You can also see nature on the cruise: we also had the opportunity to see other wildlife, including ospreys and bald eagles

Marco Island and the nearby area are known for beautiful shells, so it was fun to pick shells on a nearby island as part of the tour.

Spend a day (or more) at the beach: If you want to spend lots of time on the Marco Island beaches, I’d definitely recommend reserving a hotel right on the water.

Eat Delicious Seafood: The Gulf Coast offers delicious, local fresh seafood - be sure to order these local specialties when you dine out

Visit the Naples Botanical Gardens, which also offers a beautiful children's garden Note: We received free admission
