What To Do in Old Port Portland Maine: A fun, waterfront neighborhood in the heart of Portland Maine

Old Port in Portland Maine is a beautiful neighborhood with lots to do. It's extremely walkable, and also has plenty of parking if you are driving in.

I've received some complimentary activities and a night stay but have also visited many times on my own. All opinions are my own.

Walk around checking out the sites: The quaint streets are filled with beautiful views of cute shops, the gorgeous waterfront, and more.

Shop at all of the quaint shops: While there are a few chain shops in Old Port, there are also quite a few independent gift and craft shops.

Eat at the many delicious restaurants in the area. Don't forget to try a famous Maine lobster roll or other seafood dish.

Take a boat tour including lobster boats. These popular trips should be booked in advance to guarantee availability if possible.

There are lots of nearby hotels right in Old Port. You can park your car at the hotel and just walk around to the shops and restaurants.

Other Portland Maine neighborhoods, including the Arts District and Monument Square are a quick walk away
