Understanding the Various Disney Resorts at Walt Disney World, including the types of resorts, themes, location, and more

With different themes, prices, locations, food options, and amenities, you’ll have a lot to consider when choosing a Disney resort hotel.

There are three resort categories: Deluxe, which offer larger rooms, ideal locations, great restaurants, and fantastic amenities

moderate resorts, which are a great balance between amenities and price, which can be perfect for families on a specific budget

and the value resorts, which are a wonderful on property option for families looking to save money. They offer kid-friendly themes and a fun atmosphere.

There are resorts all around the enormous property, including Epcot where you'll find the Boardwalk, Beach and Yacht Clubs,

the Magic Kingdom, where you'll find the monorail resorts(the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Polynesian) as well as Disney's Wilderness Lodge

and Disney Springs. Some of the resorts in the Disney Springs area offer boat service to Disney Springs.

There are also various amenities, themes, and restaurants that you'll have to consider when choosing a resort hotel, in addition to location.

Transportation, including monorails, the Skyliner, buses, and boats, is available throughout the property to the parks
