Things To Do in Virginia Beach With Kids: While the beach is probably the most popular thing for guests to do, there are a lot of other great activities

Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay, the resort city of Virginia Beach offers delicious seafood, fun activities, beautiful beaches, and more.

I visited these Virginia Beach attractions on an all-expense-paid press trip, but all opinions are my own

Ride a Bike on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk: rent bikes and surrey cruisers and ride around the three mile boardwalk

Explore the Aquarium (and adjacent Adventure Park): The aquarium is located about a mile from the boardwalk area, and a trolley service is available in the summer for an additional fee

Try local food at the Farmers Market: it offers a butcher, ice cream shop, bakery, farm stands, and more and is open 7 days a week

Take a day trip to the Eastern Shore: You’ll need to drive over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, which is an experience in itself.

Enjoy your hotel amenities: Our resort had a standard outdoor pool, a pool with two small water slides, and a lazy river, along with a kids’ club and a small movie theater

Visit a State Park: Visit Kiptopeke State Park, located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, for a nice quiet afternoon

Drive to Williamsburg: Whether you decide to go for a day trip or a longer road trip, Williamsburg Virginia is definitely worth visiting during your Virginia Beach vacation

Other things to do include: – First Landing State Park – Ocean Breeze Waterpark – Cape Henry Lighthouse – The Virginia Zoo  – Mount Trashmore Park
