Massachusetts Destinations To Visit: Whether you are visiting Massachusetts on its own, or as a part of a larger New England vacation, here are great places to go.

From the historic attractions in Boston and Plymouth to the beaches on Cape Cod and the Islands, there’s so much to do in Massachusetts.

Boston: Fenway Park If you can’t get tickets to see a game, take a tour of the park. This behind-the-scenes experience is perfect for fans of baseball.

Boston: Boston Harbor Islands Take a trip to the Boston Harbor Islands, where you will get a national park experience right near the city.

Boston: Museum of Science - with so many different hands-on things for kids to do, as well as an IMAX theater and planetarium

Cape Cod: Beaches, restaurants, shops, and more, including the Cape Cod National Seashore with beaches all the way to the tip of Cape Cod in Provincetown.

Salem: Home of the Salem Witch Trials, as well as waterfront views, shops, restaurants, and historic buildings

Nantucket: Shops, restaurants, museums, beaches. Activities include nature walks, biking, beaches, and shopping

Rockport: Bearskin Neck and Beaches. Don't forget to take a picture of Motif #1 - a red fishing hut.

Martha's Vineyard: Quaint towns, restaurants, beaches, shops, on an island off the coast of Massachusetts

Plymouth: Plimoth Patuxet Museums: a living history museum with a  Wampanoag Homesite and the 17th Century English village

Great Wolf Lodge: located in Fitchburg, fun kids’ activities including a huge indoor water park, an arcade, a ropes course, among other activities
