Disneyland and Walt Disney World Differences: It’s so fun to visit both Disneyland and Walt Disney World

There are lots of fun differences between the two locations.  Here are some of the Disneyland and Walt Disney World differences.

Disclosure: I have received discounted and complimentary admission/trips over the years at both parks, and have also paid my own way. All opinions are my own.

Disneyland in California  has two separate theme parks - Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure

while Walt Disney World has four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios

There are some different attractions at the two, like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and the Incredi-coaster Roller Coaster

Some of the attractions are the same, but with differences, including the Pirates of the Caribbean and it's a small world

Walt Disney World has Disney Springs, a huge shopping, dining, and entertainment area with loads of restaurants and shops

While Disneyland has the smaller Downtown Disney, which also has shops and restaurants and is walkable from the parks and hotels

Disneyland is very walkable, and you can walk from one park to the other. Walt Disney World is much more spread out.

In the past, only Disney World offered MagicBands, but that technology will be in Disneyland Park soon
