As you might imagine, I travel frequently. I am often asked what my number #1 travel essential is, and when I travel alone, my biggest travel essential is a good set of headphones. A good pair of headphones will not only allow me to listen to music or video while flying, it’s also a great way to block noises from others. When I travel with my family, I also rely heavily on my headphones in the evenings. My whole family typically goes to sleep before me, so when we are in a room together, I listen to music or video with headphones while they sleep. Buying headphones can be a challenge though, because the good ones are expensive and it’s difficult to know which pair is best for you.
I’ve been using the SOL REPUBLIC Tracks AIR headphones for a little while now, and I love them. They are Bluetooth-enabled, which makes them so easy to use in the house and when traveling. Connecting them is easy, and they can actually be connected to two devices at one time. The sound quality is fabulous, even when I move away from the audio sources (according to the company, they work for up to 150 feet). A full charge will last for up to 15 hours, and when you turn on the headphones, a voice prompt indicates the battery life remaining. They also come with a cord if you need it, as well as a carrying case that holds the charger, cord, and headphones for travel. Tracks AIR currently come in four colors – white (as pictured above), electro blue, gunmetal, and vivid red.
