One of my favorite hotels in the Greater Phoenix area, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, is hosted a fabulous three-month event at the resort. “Summer at the Princess” features great prices along with loads of activities for the whole family.
The five pools at the resort are home to lots of the summer fun activities, including the SplashRider X-treme, a roller water ball that operates on weekends (tickets required). In the afternoons, enjoy games, tie dying, badminton, and more at the Sonoran Splash Pool. On Friday and Saturday evenings in the summer, enjoy the Techno Glo party at the pool, including LED hula hooping and techno music. For a more low-key evening, check out the Dive In Movies at the South Pool.
Overnight guests can choose to add on the Kids Resort Dining Passport, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort’s restaurants (ordering from the children’s menu). The passport can be purchased on site and is $29 per day.
At the Lagoon
Zip Line on the Zipper, which is a 37-foot high zip line, open on weekends (additional fee). You can also enjoy fishing, nature walks, and water balloons.
There are numerous activities for kids – including Trailblazers (for kids aged 5-12). Activities include sports, swimming, animal encounters, and more for an additional fee. Kids can also enjoy the Kids Club (a half-day for up to three children per family is included in the resort fee).
Book your Vacation
Guests can choose the new “Upgrade Your Summer” package which starts at $169 per night on weekdays and $189 on weekends. The “Upgrade Your Summer package” includes a stay in a Casita Signature Junior Suite. Or book “Sip, Savor, and Splash” package which starts at $169 per night on Sunday-Thursday and $189 on weekends, and includes a $50 daily resort package.
