Spring Break Family Travel Destinations
A few years ago, we traveled to Washington DC for spring break and had so much fun. It’s a great affordable destination, especially if you stay in the suburbs (we stayed in National Harbor, MD). If your kids are Hamilton fans, there are also lots of great historical destinations in the area that they’ll enjoy seeing.
New York City
Last spring break, we went to New York City for spring break. The weather is generally pretty decent, and it’s comfortable enough to walk around and do some outdoor things. Don’t forget to see a show while you are there.

The beautiful, temperate climate of San Diego is a great spring break destination. You can enjoy Legoland, the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, and so much more.

We love visiting Quebec City – it feels like you are in a European city, but without the long, overnight flight. It’s definitely a walking city and has lots of hills, so it’s best if your children are out of the stroller.
Did you know that you can experience Portuguese culture in the Azores, which is only a 4 hour 45 minute flight from Boston? Or, you can travel a little further to the Portuguese mainland, which is beautiful and offers lots of history.
Marco Island, FL
Marco Island, Florida, which is located near Fort Myers, is a great destination for a quiet beach vacation. The beaches on the Gulf side of Florida are gorgeous, and Marco Island offers several different great family beach resorts to stay in.
San Antonio, TX
The Riverwalk alone is a great reason to travel to San Diego, but there’s lots of other things to do as well. Don’t miss the Alamo, which is within walking distance of the Riverwalk area.
