If your family includes a tv and/or movie lover, some hotels across the United States have some fabulous experiences for you. Some of these are themed for TV/movies year round, while others are offering limited experiences. Hotel Experiences for TV and Movie Lovers
In the Showtime suite, you’ll enjoy a 10-foot wall-mounted projection screen with surround sound and BlueRay player, theater seating, and stereo system, and a Mickey Mouse themed wet bar. This 550 square seat can accommodate up to 6 guests, and also offers a popcorn machine, free WiFi, and a hot tub.
Disney movie lovers will love a stay at Disney’s Art of Animation, which includes Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo movie themed suites, and Little Mermaid themed rooms. As an on-property resort, guests receive amenities such as access to the Magical Express, complimentary Magic Bands and access to extra magic hours.

Got a Thomas the Tank Engine fan? The New York Hilton Midtown, one of my favorite hotels in New York, is offering a Thomas & Friends suite with toys, themed bedding, and more. It’s being offered from August 1-September 4, 2016, and rates start at $550 (including breakfast) for a suite for two adults and two children, toys, books, and a preview of a new DVD.
Celebrate the release of the new Ghostbusters™ movie with the “Ghost of a Good Time” package. Running through September 16th, 2016, this package includes two tickets for a ghost tour, 2 tickets to see the Ghostbusters™ movie, a collection of ghost stories, a $30 dining credit, two Ecto Cooler green cocktails at Public Belt, a “Marshmallow Man” dessert and downloadable Ghostbusters™ themed Spotify playlist.
