Guest blogger Melanie Feehan is a mom blogger who lives in the suburbs of Boston with her husband and four children. All of whom love to explore all the world has to offer and thankfully rarely utter the words “are we there yet”.
Boston is a town that captivates both adults and children alike. The cherished public gardens, quaint cobblestone lined streets, and a harbor filled with vessels large and small.
Something for everyone. So, it seems only fitting to stay at a hotel that also offers features that the whole family can enjoy.
The Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, a luxury hotel situated on Boston Harbor, has a contemporary feel from the start, but is decidedly family friendly.
Parents will love the hip Capiz Lounge where they can listen to live music every Friday night while enjoying signature cocktails. The kids will enjoy the hotel’s lap pool situated at the top of the hotel with panoramic views.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The décor modern. And the beds are appointed with quality linens and plenty of fluffy pillows.
Our room had a waterfront view, and as luck would have it, the tall ships were in the harbor during our stay. Delightful.
Our stay was booked under the Tale of Tea package. This package is in celebration of the grand opening of the Boston Tea Party Museum and offers several perks.
- Upon check in, guests who answer a Boston Tea Party trivia question will receive an upgrade to a room with a waterfront view, a complimentary in room movie, or complimentary internet
- Discovery journals for kids with local maps and recommendations for best sites around town
- Two complimentary Sam Adams night caps for adults and two herbal iced teas for kids in the Capiz Lounge
- Complimentary use of health club and lap pool
If you are looking for a hotel in Boston that is close to all of the action including the North End, Fanueil Hall, the New England Aquarium, the Boston Children’s Museum, and countless other historical and family attractions, the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel just might be your cup of tea.
Disclosure: The Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel invited me as their guest to stay at their property free of charge. All opinions are my own.
