During our White Mountains family vacation last weekend, we wanted to stay at a hotel that was close to the White Mountains attractions, with lots of family-friendly amenities. We ended up at the Mountain Club on Loon Mountain, a four-season resort located in Lincoln, New Hampshire.
Disclosure: We received a complimentary stay at the Mountain Club on Loon, but have also paid full price to stay there. All opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links. A purchase/click through one of these links may result in a commission paid to us.
Review of the Mountain Club on Loon in Lincoln, NH
Location of the Mountain Club on Loon
The Mountain Club on Loon is located right at Loon Mountain, on Loon Mountain Rd in Lincoln, New Hampshire. It’s about 2 ½ miles off of route 93, right at the start of the Kancamagus Highway in the White Mountains National Forest. It’s a gorgeous location, and convenient for any of the activities in Lincoln, New Hampshire.
The Mountain Club on Loon is the only slopeside hotel on Loon, so if you are planning on skiing at Loon or doing the summer activities there, it’s the most convenient hotel option.
Rooms at the Mountain Club on Loon
When booking your room, you’ll have several different options. We had a suite at the Mountain Club, which included a King Club Room and a Studio with Kitchen. The Studio with Kitchen had two Murphy beds (one for each of my kids, which they loved), as well as a balcony that overlooked the outdoor pool. The rooms are adjoining, so you can keep the door open if you prefer to make them connected.
My kids loved having their own space however. It’s a great option for families. The studio with kitchen and king club rooms can also be booked individually, with the connecting doors closed and locked. Following a renovation, the Mountain Club rooms now include wider windows, better climate control, free WiFi, and brand new flat-screen televisions
Other room options include a suite with kitchen, a grand suite with kitchen, and the kinsman suite with kitchen. For the rooms with kitchens, those include a large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and a stove with a cooktop. There are also pots and pans, dishes, cups, and utensils.
You can definitely prepare meals in your room if you’d like, although there are lots of restaurants nearby. There’s a Price Chopper grocery store if you plan to stock the kitchen with food.
Packages can often be booked which include complimentary breakfast, gondola rides up the mountain, and free kids’ meals with a paid adult meal for dinner. Definitely check the website to see what types of packages are available during your vacation.
