Lone Star Christmas Featuring ICE! at the Gaylord Texan
Now in it’s 11th year, the Lone Star Christmas Featuring ICE! will run from November 13, 2014 and run through January 3, 2015. The event, which is presented by Kodak, features Frosty and friends, a Madagascar-themed brunch, snow tubing, cookies and milk with Mrs. Claus, and much more. Tickets and reservations are required.
The North Pole Express®
Held on select days in late November and December, the North Pole Express is a journey on a vintage rail coach to the “North Pole”. Children enjoy sing alongs on their journey, and once they arrive, they walk around a snowy village to meet Santa. Tickets include a family photo with Santa and a serving of Santa’s chocolate snow milk in a memory mug.
Snowland at the Great Wolf Lodge
Visit the 84-degree, indoor water park at the Great Wolf Lodge, and experience holiday activities such as holiday storytime, the clock tower holiday show, and a life-size gingerbread house.
Holiday Bricktacular at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center
There are numerous holiday activities taking place at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Take part in the festive build challenge on December 6th, 13th, and 20th. From December 1-24th, guests can also participate in a holiday scavenger hunt and write letters to Santa.
Entertainment at the Palace Theater
The Palace Theater is host to many holiday shows, including the Texas Tenors, Main Street Live, the Nutcracker, and numerous Christmas movies.
Parade of Lights
The largest lighted Christmas parade takes place December 4th, 2014 at 7pm. Running along Main Street in Grapevine, the Parade of Lights includes over 100 lighted floats and bands.
Light Show Spectacular
Experience a singing tree and holiday lights at the Light Show Spectacular, taking place on the corner of Main Street and Dallas Road from November 24th-January 4th from 6pm-11pm.
“Dismay in a Manger” at the Texas Star Dinner Theater
Solve the mystery at the dinner theater show, taking place Fridays and Saturdays, November 21 – 30th, and Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, December 1 – December 27.
