Family Theme Parks
We love visiting theme parks. When my kids were younger, they really enjoyed seeing the characters and being enveloped in magic. As they got older, they really started to appreciate the rides and attractions, but still get nostalgic for the magic.
While most people think of Disney when they think of theme parks, there are many others located throughout the US and the rest of the world. These include SeaWorld properties (like SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Busch Gardens), Knott's Berry Farm and other Cedar Fair properties, Universal Studios, and smaller, regional theme parks (like Edaville and Story Land).
You'll want to research your chosen theme park well in advance, as planning can often be essential. Find out what you need to do before you leave.
