Kids love ice cream, and when you travel to Walt Disney World, you have lots of delicious options. My kids have their favorites, and we always have to space out our delicious snack stops throughout our vacation. If your children love ice cream treats, here are seven of the best ice cream treats at Walt Disney World.
The Kitchen Sink ($29) – Available at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and mint chocolate chip ice cream smothered in Oreo cookies, candy bars, brownies, cake, bananas, cherries and every topping in the house. It’s topped with an entire can of whipped cream. You can also order it in chocolate lovers and Neapolitan versions.
Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar ($4.25) – Available at Ice cream carts throughout the parks and various counter service locations
The most iconic of all the ice cream treats on this list…Vanilla ice cream shaped like Mickey and served on a stick dipped in chocolate. The only question you have to ask yourself is which ear to start with first?
Dole Whip Float ($5.29) – Available in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom & Aloha Isle at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Bungalows
Another one of Walt Disney World’s iconic treats. This one has never left the menu since park opening. Soft serve vanilla ice cream in pineapple juice. You can also opt for pineapple soft serve instead.
PB&J Milkshake ($6) – Available at 50’s Prime Time Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Peanut butter and jelly blended into a milkshake served in a vintage shake glass. The “Plaza” Ice Cream Sundae ($5.39) Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom Topped with hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry, this freshly baked waffle cone bowl is filled with two scoops of your favorite ice cream flavor. Eat it outside with a fantastic view of Cinderella Castle.
No Way Jose ($9) – Available at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop in Disney’s Beach Club Resort
If peanut butter and hot fudge are your thing, opt for this sundae featuring chocolate and vanilla ice cream, smothered in hot fudge and peanut butter sauce and topped with peanut butter and chocolate morsels, whipped cream and a cherry.
Kona Kone ($7) – Available at Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Bungalows
Ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and Mickey sprinkles served in a waffle cone perched on a cloud of blue cotton candy atop a plate of candy coated chocolates.
