I first stayed at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess during a press trip, and later returned with my family. It’s a gorgeous resort, located right in the heart of Scottsdale. It features numerous pools, a fun kids club, water slides, delicious restaurants, and so much more. During our stay, my kids visited the kids club and participating in fun activities like fishing and arts and crafts. Rooms vary from standard hotel rooms to the family-friendly Casitas. The resort hosts numerous seasonal events throughout the year, including Fourth of July Freedom Fest Weekend and Christmas at the Princess.

Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman

Although I didn’t stay at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman during my numerous resorts to the island, I did spend the day there. My daughter had the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon in their world-class kids’ club, while I hung out at the beach. It’s a wonderful hotel for families, and offers a perfect location right on Seven Mile Beach. In addition to the kids’ club, there are pools, restaurants, and so much more for families to enjoy.

Disney Yacht and Beach Club at sunset

Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Of course, every resort at Walt Disney World is family-friendly, but our favorite of the deluxe resorts is Disney’s Beach Club. It’s located in the Boardwalk area of the resort, right next to Epcot. With boat access to Hollywood Studios, and a walking path to Epcot, it’s conveniently located. We especially love Stormalong Bay, the amazing pool area that is shared with Disney’s Yacht Club. The resort offers a kids’ club (separate fee and reservations required), a quick-serve restaurant, and a the popular soda shop – Beaches and Cream. Other restaurants (at the Boardwalk, Yacht Club, and Epcot) are just a quick walk away.
