• Indoor Water Park in the White Mountains at the Red Jacket Mountain View

Earlier this year, the Red Jacket Resorts invited my family to visit the resort of our choice for a weekend getaway.  I’ve been wanting to check out Kahuna Laguna, the largest indoor water park in New Hampshire (which is located in the Red Jacket Mountain View, and only open to resort guests), so we chose the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort.

Our room was an alcove room, which meant that it was a standard two-double bed room with a “secret room” – an alcove with a double bed for the kids, and a sliding door for privacy.  It was perfect for us because our kids generally go to bed before we do.  They just loved their secret room too – it was a total novelty for them.

The hotel rooms themselves are relatively standard – but the resort is wonderful.  They have some great kids’ activities, including s’more making and storytime. The location is fabulous  – just a few minutes from the center of North Conway Village, and up on a hill with a gorgeous mountain view.

We visited Kahuna Laguna in the afternoon of our second day there, and my kids absolutely loved it. The water park isn’t overly crowded at all, and there’s plenty of staff watching everyone.  My son loved the water tower, while my daughter had a blast riding the water slides with daddy.  They could easily have visited the water park every day – they just loved it!

This sounds AWESOME! We LOVE the White Mountains – we used to live in Maine, and would visit Conway & Mt Washington several times a year for hiking & sightseeing. Thanks for the recommendation! :)
