Halloween at Camana Bay
There are lots of fun Halloween Hotel happenings going on across the US and the Caribbean. Some are great for adults-only, while many are kid-friendly and appropriate for the whole family.
Camana Bay, Grand Cayman
Camana Bay is a lifestyle center which includes villas and apartments along with restaurants, shops, and offices. They have lots of fun Halloween events including a costume parade followed by a Monster Mash Bash. There’s also a Monster Lab, Carnival Games, and other activities, all on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 in the Town Centre. There will also be trick or treating and movies on Halloween evening.
Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, St. Petersburg, Florida
This 86-year-old resort is offering some frightening and fun Halloween-themed drinks such as the Graveyard Brew ($10), Pumpkin Spook ($12) and the Ghost-tini ($12). For a spooky experience, stay in the resort’s main town, which is rumored to have experienced paranormal activity.
The Wolcott Hotel, Midtown Manhattan
The Wolcott Hotel in midtown Manhattan is another hotel with rumored paranormal “guests”. Various guests, vendors and employees have reported similar unusual occurrences including mysterious music playing from unseen sources, repeated ghostly sightings of an elderly man with a cane walking through the one of the hotel’s hallways and two young boys wearing pajamas either playing in the stairwells or running up or down the stairs.
Esperanza Mansion, Finger Lakes Wine Country
Esperanza Mansion has been host to a lady in white ghost and is a short distance from Spook Hill – a hill where if guests park their car and put it in neutral it will start moving slowly up the hill by itself. Some believe this to be an optical illusion while others claim that a Native American ghost pushes the cars/bikes up the hill.
Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort, Bonnet Creek Florida
This hotel is offering a Haunted Halloween party on September 27th, 2012 from 7-10 with which with costume contests, a DJ, games, face painting, and refreshments. On Halloween, the resort is offering trick or treating.
The Liaison Capitol Hill, Washington DC
This Affinia Hotel is offering free Wi-Fi to all guests who check into the hotel with their pets in costume and post photos to Facebook tagging the hotel.
