• Flexible, Lightweight, Rolling Luggage

Airlines are now strictly enforcing the weight limits of checked bags, and I’m always seeing families spread out across the airport floor trying to take heavy things out of their bags.  The fees for oversized bags are very high – and often not worth the cost.  So, if you are constantly finding yourself crossing your fingers that your bag will not be over the limit, consider purchasing a lightweight, but heavy duty suitcase.  During the Container Store‘s annual travel sale, I purchased this Blue Tarpaulin Rolling Luggage, and I’ve been thrilled with it.

The Tarpaulin Rolling Luggage comes in both blue and black, but I purchased the blue, which is more striking and easily found on the luggage carousel.  The bag weighs only 8 lbs 4 oz, which leaves a few extra pounds for your belongings.  It rolls easily and the handle adjusts to 5 heights.  I’ve already checked it 6 times and while it has definitely been bumped around, it’s held up nicely.  This luggage also is a bit flexible, so you can stuff it full of your belongings.

I bought mine at the Container Store, although it’s not exclusively available there.
