Last week, when we attended the Nantucket Christmas Stroll, we also had the opportunity to check out the Festival of Trees at the Nantucket Whaling Museum. From December 1, 2011 through January 3, 2012, the museum is decorated with eighty uniquely decorated trees decorated by local merchants, nonprofits, children, artists, and citizens.
We’d already visited the Nantucket Whaling Museum, but it’s even more spectacular when decorated for Christmas. We all loved checking out each of the trees, and photographing our favorites (see photo above). If you are visiting Nantucket this Christmas season, it’s definitely worth checking out the festival.

Disclosure: We received complimentary admission for purposes of review.

We loved the Festival of Trees this year in the Whaling Museum — you get to visit the museum AND see the trees. Nantucket is the perfect place to spend the holidays. We found our inn at http://www.nantucket.net and they have a very helpful calendar of events.
Thanks for sharing the photos.
