Mystic, Connecticut, about halfway between Boston and New York City, has lots of kid-friendly activities this holiday season.

There’s the Mystic Aquarium, featuring a shark and ray touch tank and a sea lion show, the Dinosaur Place, and even Mohegan Sun, which has a special secure kids club while mom and dad have dinner.

Many local Mystic hotels offer package deals – like this one at the Comfort Inn which includes admission to Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium.
