The fifth day of our Carnival Glory press trip was bittersweet – we were happy to have a full day to just enjoy the ship, but we also knew that it would be our last full day on the ship. We had a relaxing room service breakfast – once again ordered by my son – and venturing out for a walk. It was a little chilly first thing in the morning, so we decided to visit the arcade – something my kids had been begging to do. The arcade isn’t big, but does have a really fun Monopoly theme that it shares with the older kid’s club, right next door.
After some arcade fun, we went out to lunch at the Platinum Restaurant, and then the kids decided to just relax in the room watching a movie. We then decided to spend the rest of the afternoon hanging around outside on the Lido Deck, before going to dinner for the last time in the Platinum Dining Room. Once again, our fabulous server Tony entertained the whole dining room with his dance moves and singing.
After dinner, we took the kids to see another one of the shows – this one rated PG. Once again, the show captivated my kids, and my husband and I were both impressed with how talented the performers are.
We settled in for our last night – not ready to leave, but happy that we had such a fabulous vacation.
