Many local families have their winter break coming up in February – are you planning a vacation? If you haven’t, here are some family-friendly winter vacation spots you may consider traveling to.
Smuggler’s Notch
My family has loved visited Smugglers’ Notch in the summer, and if you’re a family of skiers (or want to be), this is definitely a great place to spend your February school vacation week.
White Mountains, New Hampshire
I just can’t get enough of the White Mountains, and in the winter, it’s a full winter wonderland. Visit Attitash Resort in Bartlett or Loon Mountain in Lincoln for loads of family ski fun.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Perhaps you are looking to get away from the cold weather? If so, San Juan Puerto Rico may be perfect for you. US residents don’t need a passport, and there are lots of family-friendly hotel options, including the San Juan Marriott.
US Virgin Islands
I recently attended an event hosted by the US Virgin Islands (in Boston, sadly), and it definitely looks like a great place to visit. Again, passports aren’t needed for US residents.
San Diego, California
San Diego is one of my favorite places on Earth, and there’s plenty of things for kids to do. From Legoland to the San Diego Zoo, the kids will have a blast!Ready to book? Find hotel deals at Expedia!
